Trinity, widely considered the state's most talented team, is the school of one of the state's top offensive line prospects, Tyler English. English recently checked out a couple of spring games and is planning on seeing another.

Tyler English checked out Knoxville last weekend for their Spring Scrimmage and came away feeling good about what he witnessed and who he talked.

"I had a great time (at the Tennessee Scrimmage)," said English. "I got to have one-on-one time with six different coaches: the head coach, offensive line coach, quarterback coach, offensive coordinator, the linebacker coach (who recruits the city of Louisville) and the recruiting coordinator," he said. "It was a great trip and the offensive line coach said he was coming up to Trinity to see me in a couple of weeks," said English.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound lineman also made the trek across town to the Louisville campus to see Coach Strong's program's scrimmage.

"I also had a good time at the Louisville spring game," said English. "Coach (Mike) Sanford sat with us at our table and spent a lot of time with us," he said.

The Fighting Illini have been very busy in Kentucky recently and they've asked English to come to Champaign and take a look.

"Illinois has invited me to their spring game next weekend. I am going up Saturday morning," English finished.
