Zack Templin is a name that football fans in the Commonwealth should get familiar with. The East Jessamine prospect is close to receiving some major offers. Already possessing a 6-foot-5, 290-pound frame, he could wind up being an early contributor when he gets to college.
Preps: Zack, what do you consider as the strength of your game?
Zack: My run blocking is my strength.
Preps: Where do you want to improve your game?
Zack: I want to improve my pass protecting. We never really pass in our offense.
Preps: How do you think you played last season?
Zack: I think I performed really well, but I can always get better.
Preps: What schools are you hearing from most right now?
Zack: Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Bowling Green, Louisville, Illinois, Marshall and Ohio.
Preps: Any offers?
Zack: Not yet.
Preps: Have you visited any schools this spring or for Junior Day?
Zack: Yes I have. Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Louisville.
Preps: Do you know when you want to make your college decision?
Zack: I’m not sure; maybe at the beginning of my senior season.
Preps: What are your goals for the summer months and going into your senior year?
Zack: This upcoming season I want to be the best I can for my team. I want to bring my team up and carry them. I will be attending camps at Marshall, Kentucky, Western Kentucky and Eastern Kentucky so far.
