There's a lot of talent on the Tates Creek roster this upcoming season. One player with the physical tools is receiver DeAndre Bigsby. Scout Kentucky Preps spoke with Bigsby about his game.

DeAndre Bigsby is a 6-foot-6, 190-pound wide receiver for Tates Creek. Bigsby's size makes him an almost unstoppable weapon in the red-zone, but it's not just about his own numbers.

"I'm very team-oriented," said Bigsby. "I like to help my teammates get better as I get better," he said.

Getting better is a theme for DeAndre this summer as he practices with his teammates. "I want the mental aspect of my game to get better," he said. "I want to work on my confidence and things like that. I want to improve my work ethic," he continued.

Bigsby is already showing improved work ethic by taking extra time to work with his Deijamare Christopher, his teammate and quarterback.

"I'm working out with my quarterback everyday. I run routes and work on conditioning with him. I life weights and he throws to me every day," said Bigsby.

Bigsby doesn't hold any offers right now, but he will be camping at Kentucky and Cincinnati this summer. He also may check a camp at Ohio State.

During that time, he'll get a chance to see some schools and be exposed to different coaching staffs. Then after his senior year, he hopes to make his college decision.

"I'll probably make my decision towards the end of my (senior) year," he said. "Education is the first thing with me. Then the type of offense is important. I'd like to play in a spread offense; a team that runs a lot," he finished.
