Mitchell Henry was a standout for Elizabethtown High (Ky.) as a junior with 52 catches for 764 yards and eight touchdowns. His play was good enough to get the attention of several programs. He's taken visits to Louisville, Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ole Miss, Cincinnati and Bowling Green.
Henry's offers are from Memphis, Bowling Green and Western Kentucky so far, but he could receive more offers after spring camp showings.
"(The camps) have been going pretty good," said Henry. "I've been to Purdue, Indiana, Kentucky, Vanderbilt and North Carolina," he said. "All of those camps have gone pretty good. I just got back from North Carolina a couple days ago," he continued.
"I went to UNC. I really liked it up there. That's probably one of my favorite schools," he said. "They are going to contact me and let me know what they are going to do," he continued.
He also took in a camp at Kentucky. "I talked to the staff a lot up there. They were pleased with what I did up there. That was one of my better camps," said Henry.
Henry has also received some tips on improving his play at those camps. "(They said) just keep working on my blocking and everything," he said. "The tight ends have to do everything. My route running has been real good. All the coaches like that," he said.
The goal for Henry this summer is to get faster and stronger, which is a usual goal for most prospects in Henry's position. "I want tog et my forty time to about the high 4.6s," he said. "I want to get bigger and stronger. I want to get to about 250 or 255-pounds," continued Henry.
Mitchell is unsure about when he wants to make his decision at this point. "It probably depends. I'm not sure yet (when I want to decide)," he said.
