One of the most talented players on a loaded Ballard (Ky.) team is safety Forisse Hardin. "Flo" is getting close to declaring for a school and has narrowed his list down to two universities.

It had been reported recently that Ballard safety Flo Hardin had narrowed his school list down to the University of Kentucky and Indiana University. So is that the case?

"Yes, that's true," said Hardin. Hardin holds offers from both of those schools as well as Western Kentucky.

So what is it about those two schools that stands out for him?

"At Indiana they are building new facilities. They weight room is getting bigger. The academics at Indiana, I really like that," he said. "You don't' have to get on a bus to go to class. It's all by the football field," he continued.

And with Kentucky? "I have a lot of friends that go to Kentucky," he said. "It's the SEC. I like the facilities and the coaches there too," he continued.

Hardin does plan to make a decision, but he hasn't put a time stamp on it yet. "Whenever I know it's right, that's when I'll choose," he said.

Hardin has kept busy this summer while thinking about his decision. "I camped at Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue and Northwestern," he said. "I think I did good. They said they liked my explosiveness when I run. They said I need to work on reading the quarterback," he continued.

We will keep you updated on Hardin and his decision as more information is available.
