After a breakout performance at the Sweet 16, Hickey has received several offers. One of the newer schools involved with Hickey is a Big East program.

Last year Anthony Hickey averaged 15 points per game for the Colonels, leading them into the second round of the Sweet 16 and averaging 23 points per game at the state tournament. Hickey received offers from Oklahoma State, Western Kentucky, Murray State and Libscomb after his play as a junior.

Now a few other programs have come along with offers and interest. "Cincinnati, Wright State, Southern Illinois, Evansville, Wofford College and a couple more, he said.

Hickey has offers from all of those, but Cincinnati, but the Bearcats have inquired. "I'm not sure if (Cincinnati) has offered yet, really," he said. "But I will see who really wants me this month because we're going to the big AAU tournaments," he continued.

Hickey is a pure point guard who can score when necessary. He excels at going to the rim. "I like getting to the basket," he said. "I can shoot the three, but I go to the basket because my three-point shot isn't where I want it to be," he said. "I finish strong going to the rack."

Anthony Hickey is running with the Nashville Celtics this summer. Hickey and the Celtics reached the Semi-Finals of The Read Deal tournament in Little Rock (Ar.) behind he and his teammates stellar play.
