West is coming up on time to make his college decision, but one school that was previously on his list has now been replaced by another.

Coming into August, Zach West was considering home state Kentucky along with Tennessee, Penn State, Cincinnati and Auburn. All of those schools had offered except the Tigers. When Auburn decided not to offer, West made a change.

"(I added Louisville) because (Auburn) did not offer me. I thought they would," said West.

West has always maintained that he was impressed with Louisville and the Cardinals were his first BCS offer back in March. "Louisville has some really great facilities and it was awesome to see how much their fans are behind them," he said. "If you're in Louisville and you play for Louisville, you're a celebrity. It was great to see how much support the fans give the players," he told Dave Berk this past spring.

Not much has changed in West's thinking about Louisville.

"I really like coach Borberley and the entire coaching staff at Louisville," said West.
