Prince got a chance to show out for some college coaches at camps as well as at the Elite 11 camp this summer. He felt good about his showings.
"I've performed pretty well this summer," said Prince. "I am leaps and bounds better than last year. At this point, I'm excited about this year," he said.
With the season right up the Red Devils, like most players, Prince has a big goal in mind. "My biggest goal this season is to win a state championship. I've been playing with these guys since fifth grade. It would be a great memory to have with them before I leave for college," he said.
"No division one offers yet," he said. "VMI will be at my first game and I seem to be their guy," he said. "A bunch of schools are waiting to see my first two games before they pull the trigger. I think if I play well this season, recruiting will take care of itself."
Prince accounted for 1800 yards of total offense last season and 20 touchdowns for the 9-3 Red Devils. With his improvements and the concept, Prince feels good about this season.
"My leadership has greatly improved along with my decision making. I've also improved my running ability," he said. "(I'm looking forward to) getting the football season started. We've been working very hard this off-season, so it's our time to shine," he finished.
