Euton Commits To Akron Zips

In June of 2007, Scott County power forward Dakotah Euton committed to play for the Kentucky Wildcats. A coaching change occurred and his commitment dissolved.
On Friday, the 6-foot-8 forward pledged to play for Keith Dambrot at Akron. The Zips frontcourt is about to be strong and diverse. Last season, Top 50 Zeke Marshall signed on and is a freshman. Now Dambrot has his compliment with the soft touch of Euton.
""Dakotah is a very physical kid who is very, very skilled," Wisconsin Playground Warriors coach Ritchie Davis said. "His ability to stretch the defense and shoot the basketball will be a huge asset to the Akton porgram. He sees the floor very well for a kid his size and is a solid passer."
Nevada, Oregon State and UNC-Greensboro were on his list of suitors.
